Welcome to the Orange Post, a new and exciting website dedicated to promoting independent writing and commentary about anything and everything. From food and wine through to politics and religion, the Orange Post is like a Sunday magazine, a bit of news, a chuckle here and there and some food, gardening and wine all thrown in for balance.
Whether it be international politics, gardening, cooking, local council machinations, eating out, fine dining or supping on a great drop of wine, the Orange Post is the website to trust for independent and honest news and views on our great lifestyle.
The good news is that the Orange Post isn’t a one person blog. The Orange Post is a community blog that encourages all independent writers in the central west to get typing and promote their causes or interests at no cost, and to a steadily growing market.
1. Will I get paid? The answer is no. The Orange Post is a privately funded project and we support only truly local businesses and not the corporations. Any income derived from that little advertisement, and I’m yet to be paid by Mr Google, goes towards running the site and promoting posts on social media.
2. How often will I need to write? That really does depend on you. Some writers submit two or more articles a week, some submit one every two weeks or so. You can even just submit one story, we honestly don’t mind.
Not sure if you’re good enough? There is really only one way to find out.
To begin writing for the Orange Post all you have to do is complete the form below and we will contact you.
